In 2014, we chose SCAD, The Savannah College of Art and Design, to establish an endowment to assist their high achieving students seeking Interior Design, Service Design, and Fashion Marketing and Management degrees. Our endowment has funded seven scholarships to five eligible SCAD students. Why SCAD? We wanted to make a difference in the lives of aspiring students who will be our industry’s future guardians. And SCAD is in our backyard, based in Savannah, GA, our home city Atlanta, Lacoste, France, and other global locations. Their students and alumni have garnered so many achievements they have positioned SCAD as the preeminent Art and Design School in the nation. Gifts to the “STAR” scholarship can be made at www.scad.edu/give. Donors should select “Scholarship” and in the drop-down menu select STAR Student Advancement in Retail Design Endowed Scholarship in the designation box.
